Private House Selling Tips: Part 1

Take a page out of the professionals book. Get professional photos!

A picture tells a thousand words, so don’t let poor photos compromise your selling potential. People will often make a shortlist of houses they wish to view based on the photos they have looked at so you need to make sure yours are up there with the best.

For less than $200, (a minuscule amount in the scheme of things) you can get a professional photographer to come out and take high quality photos that will do all the talking you need them to do to enable them to sell your property.

Before your photographer arrives be sure to prep the scene for them. This may include removing personal photos from your walls, clearing the floor of junk and minimising the amount of furniture in the rooms. You want your potential buyers picturing their future home and not being distracted by all your stuff.
